It is no over-exaggeration when we say it was the perfect weekend and ultimately that would have not been possible without them. They are all such stars and were absolutely brilliant - we had so many compliments on the entertainment for the night and we were so pleased at how well they read the room - the selection of songs was immaculate and the vibes were unmatched (we also really appreciate them adapting to the timings after the delay on the mains). “We have so much to say about The Flyways, we could write an essay. I wish we could do more to thank them, on the night we didn’t want to say goodbye to them. We honestly don’t even know where to begin with The Flyaways. They absolutely smashed it. Without a doubt, they are the best band we have ever watched live, and the number of compliments we received about them throughout the wedding (and even afterwards) was honestly overwhelming. They completely understood our energy, our vibe and the atmosphere we wanted, and they absolutely owned it from start to finish. Apart from marrying each other, The Flyaways were genuinely the highlight of our wedding day. They nailed every single song, banger after banger, and somehow kept the energy at an insane level all night. The dance floor was never empty, everyone was singing, dancing and having the best time, and they created an atmosphere that we will never forget. What makes them even more special is that you can genuinely see the relationship between the band members. They bounce off each other so naturally, and you could tell they were having just as much fun performing as we were watching them. The passion was so obvious. And then, just when we thought they couldn’t possibly top it, they finished with the most incredible and intimate final moment. The band gathered everyone into a circle and played an acoustic version of Angels by Robbie Williams. Having all of our favourite people gathered around us, singing together, with the band right in the middle of everyone, was genuinely one of the most special moments of the entire day. It was emotional, personal and absolutely perfect, such an amazing way to finish the night. We’ve already got a few more weddings coming up over the next year or so, and the couples are already asking about booking The Flyaways, which says absolutely everything! We just desperately hope we get to see them again very soon. If you’re considering booking The Flyaways for your wedding, stop looking. Book them. You will not regret it. They are absolutely phenomenal.”

“I wanted to write in praise of The Flyaways, who played at our daughter’s wedding a week ago last Saturday, and would be grateful if you would pass on my good wishes. They played background music at the drinks reception which perfectly set the mood, but it was their evening set that was really amazing. We should have ordered a larger dance floor as there were so many of the guests, who were encouraged to get off their seats or move away from the bar, to get up and dance by the wonderfully played music. The really lovely thing was that, the band members all seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were. So could you please thank the band members for their contribution to making Sophie and Ryan’s wedding such a joyous day.”

“We just wanted to say that The Flyaways were absolutely BRILLIANT. We knew they were going to be great based on the videos online, but I don’t think either of us could have imagined how amazing, varied and ELECTRIC their sets were (including arguably the greatest moment of the entire wedding, when they decided to join in with us A cappella chanting 15 mins of music at midnight when the DJ had to turn off his music!). We’ve had probably 20-30 people tell us that they were the best wedding band they had ever seen, and probably five different couples have told us that they would love to book them for their weddings in the next few years. So that probably tells you all you need to know! In terms of the sets themselves, they were perfectly curated and got absolutely everyone on to the dance floor - starting with their folk rock set (Mumford & Sons, Paul Simon, Chuck Berry all went down brilliantly), and then even more so with their electric set (which was 10/10 right from the start when they learnt a Sam Fender song for us). I’m sure they get this a lot, but The Flyaways genuinely were the absolute highlight of the wedding, and I genuinely could not recommend them any more highly to any couple / event organiser that wants to get a dance floor packed from start to finish.”
